Approximately 100 Canadian Armed Forces personnel and DND civilian members have completed Operation NEVUS 2016 – the performance of essential preventive and corrective maintenance on the High Arctic Data Communications System in and around Canadian Forces Station Alert, Nunavut, located on Ellesmere Island, from June 1 to 28, 2016.

Rear-Admiral Scott Bishop assumed the role of Commander Canadian Forces Intelligence Command and Chief of Defence Intelligence last week from Lieutenant-General Paul Wynnyk. The change of command ceremony was held at the Cartier Square Drill Hall and was presided over by General Jonathan Vance, Chief of the Defence Staff.
