CANSEC keynote speakers announced

The keynote speakers for the breakfast and lunch events at CANSEC 2022 have been confirmed and announced by CADSI, the show organizer. This year's lineup includes Canada's Defence and Procurement Ministers, the UK Minister for Defence Procurement, and Canada's Vice Chief of the Defence Staff.

Day 1 CANSEC

• The Honourable Anita Anand, Minister of National Defence (DND)
  A lawyer before entering politics, Anand was elected in 2019 and became the Minister of Procurement. She took on the role of Defence Minister on 26 Oct 2021.
   
• The Honourable Jeremy Quin, MP, UK Minister of State (Minister for Defence Procurement)
  Quinn has been the Minister for Defence Procurement at the MoD since 13 February 2020.

Day 2 CANSEC 

• The Honourable Filomena Tassi, Minister of Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC)
  Elected as a Member of Parliament in 2015, Tassi has served as Minister of Labour, Minister of Seniors, and most recently as Minister of PSPC.
   
• Lieutenant-General Frances Allen, Vice Chief of the Defence Staff for the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF).
  LGen Allen has commanded at multiple levels throughout her Air Force career. She was appointed as VCDS on 28 June 2021.
