Military vehicles on the move

In preparation to respond to federal, provincial, or municipal requests for assistance (RFA), approximately 95 members from 33 Canadian Brigade Group (CBG) are being mobilized to Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Borden.

Local residents can expect to see a number of military personnel and vehicles from 33 CBG on the roads travelling to CFB Borden on Monday, 6 April 2020.

These RFAs are expected to be in support of the fight against COVID-19 and other emergencies, such as floods and fires, especially while the general population must conform to safe distancing and the "stay at home" requirements currently in place.

From CFB Borden, soldiers will be positioned to support and react to the needs as they are identified in coordination with civilian partners.

Members of 33 CBG are trained and experienced professionals who take pride in helping their fellow Canadians.
