No charges against Admiral McDonald

Provost Marshal BGen Simon Trudeau announced the end of the investigation into potential sexual misconduct against Admiral Art McDonald this evening. He said that after a 6-month investigation, "evidence […] did not support the laying of charges. Adm McDonald had stepped back from his duties as the new Chief of the Defence Staff only weeks after the official change of command ceremony. Defence Minister Sajjan’s office refused to comment on whether McDonald would be reinstated as CDS.
