C4i Signs New Contract With Middle East

C4i Training & Technology has signed a large multi-year contract with a Middle Eastern country, outfitting its armed forces with C4i’s MILSIM simulation training software. This contract marks the third Middle Eastern country to utilize C4i’s MILSIM products.

UBC naval programs to receive $2 million from Seaspan

Mali orders C-295W from Airbus

Mali becomes the 23rd nation to order the C295 with an order for one winglet-equipped C295W model, now the standard version, in transport configuration for the Mali Air Force. Delivery is due in the second half of 2016.

Rheinmetall to update air defence of international customer

An international customer has awarded Rheinmetall Defence a multimillion-euro order to modernize its Skyguard air defence systems. The order is worth €390 million ($CDN 593 million). Delivery will take place between 2017 and 2020.

GE extends RCN contract for support of frigates

GE Canada announced it recently extended a contract with Public Services and Procurement Canada to provide maintenance and logistics support services for a 15th year. The contract covers the Royal Canadian Navy’s (RCN) fleet of LM2500 aeroderivative gas turbines that power Halifax-class patrol frigates.
