Seaspan hosts Atlantic Canada Industry Day
More than 100 people representing over 65 companies attended Seaspan Shipyards’ Atlantic Canada Industry Day hosted in Halifax on September 8. During the session, attendees received an update on Seaspan’s progress on its National Shipbuilding Procurement Strategy Non-Combat package of vessels, and specifically, its work on the Joint Support Ship project and associated supply chain opportunities.
Rheinmetall at DSEI 2015: HEL-lights in London
During the DSEI defence show in London, Sept. 15-18, Rheinmetall’s high technology group will for the first time showcase its air defence High Energy Laser (HEL) effectors, capable of engaging low, slow, small (LSS) threats.
