B-Temia, a Canadian robotics tech company and leader in the human mobility market, with its partner Lockheed Martin, appointed as the prime contractor, announced its engagement in a major agreement with U.S. Army Natick Soldier Research for artificial intelligence technology for advanced exoskeleton capabilities.
Surface Combatant contract on hold
The long process of choosing a design team for the Canadian Surface Combatant (CSC) ships drew to a close this fall with the October selection – by Irving Shipbuilding (where the ships will be built) and the Government of Canada – of the Lockheed-led team of companies proposing the BAE Type-26 design. It is now on hold pending a legal review of the legality of the decision.
