CCG Rescue Dive Team back on duty

CAF to help New Brunswickers after flooding

The Canadian Armed Forces, in support of Public Safety Canada, is deploying approximately 60 members to assist the Province of New Brunswick following their request for federal assistance. Elements of 4 Engineer Support Regiment from 5th Canadian Division Support Base Gagetown deployed to support Provincial authorities. Brazil orders more Airbus SAR aircraft

The solution ordered by Brazil is very similar to that of Canada. Brazil’s first C295 SAR aircraft toured three of Canada’s search and rescue bases in 2017. Accessing the contractual option for additional SAR-configured aircraft will bring its C295 fleet to 15 aircraft, with 12 transport-configured and 3 SAR-configured. [node:read-more:link]
