Constable Julien Ponsioen is the Neighbourhood Police Officer for the Metro Vancouver Transit Police in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Julien Started his Emergency Service career as a Paramedic with the BC Ambulance Service in 1993 in a small town called Sicamous. He eventually found his way into the Metro Vancouver area in 2001 to continue his Paramedic career, eventually becoming a Superintendent with the BC Ambulance Service. In 2014, he decided  it was time to switch careers, so he joined the Metro Vancouver Transit Police Department as a recruit Police Constable, since then he has spent time in patrol before becoming the Neighbourhood Police Officer for the Downtown Vancouver core, and the LGBTQ2S+ Liaison member.
